    Consultation and surgical professional fees may be self-pay or out-of-network, depending on your individual insurance plan.

  • Yes – in many cases. Hospital-based services such as facility fees, imaging, pathology, anesthesia, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy may still be processed through a patients insurance plan separately from the surgical professional fee. Coverage varies by individual policy, and our team will help guide patients through this process.

  • Yes. Dr Voci is a strong advocate for multidisciplinary breast cancer care and collaborates closely with trusted medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, reconstructive plastic surgeons, pathologists, and support services throughout the region.

    Each patient is thoughtfully guided in selecting the oncology team and cancer center that best aligns with their diagnosis, goals and preferences. Our office works to seamlessly integrate patients into those practices for adjuvant therapies and ongoing care.

  • Surgical procedures are performed at accredited hospitals and outpatient surgical facilities throughout the Charlotte region.

  • Absolutely. Many patients seek second opinions to better understand their diagnosis, surgical options, reconstruction choices, or overall treatment plan. Dr.Voci welcomes the opportunity to provide thoughtful, comprehensive second opinion consultations.

  • Yes. Dr Voci evaluates patients with elevated lifetime breast cancer risk, including those with strong family history, known genetic mutations, dense breast tissue, or other high-risk conditions. 

    Many patients are unaware of their individual risk factors or what enhanced surveillance may look like for them. Dr. Voci provides personalized risk education and tailored screening recommendations based on each patient’s unique profile.

  • Providing timely access to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients is a core priority of our practice. Every effort is made to accommodate appointments as quickly as possible.

  • Yes. Voci Breast Surgery collaborates with leading cancer programs, imaging centers, and oncology specialists throughout the region to ensure patients have seamless access to comprehensive, multidisciplinary care. 

    Many patients also prefer to receive adjuvant medical therapies at smaller, more accessible private practices. Dr. Voci coordinates with those providers as well.
