Second Opinions

Many patients simply want reassurance that they are making the best decision—and we're honored to provide that guidance.

Choosing the right treatment is one of the most important decisions you'll make. If you've recently received a breast cancer diagnosis or treatment recommendation, we provide comprehensive second opinions to help you better understand your diagnosis, review imaging and pathology, discuss available treatment options, and ensure you feel confident moving forward.

03

High-Risk Breast Cancer

Not every patient with an increased risk of breast cancer requires surgery.

We help patients understand their individual risk and develop personalized screening and prevention strategies based on family history, genetic testing, breast density, and other risk factors.

Our Services

Risk Assessment
Enhanced Screening
Genetic Testing Review
Risk Reduction Counseling

Surgical Procedures

Every operation is carefully planned to achieve the safest cancer treatment while preserving appearance whenever possible.

Procedures

Lumpectomy

Also called breast-conserving surgery, lumpectomy removes the cancer or abnormal tissue while preserving as much healthy breast tissue as possible.

Mastectomy

Mastectomy removes the breast tissue when it is the best option for cancer treatment, risk reduction, or patient preference.

Nipple-Sparing Mastectomy

When medically appropriate, nipple-sparing mastectomy preserves the nipple and skin envelope to support a more natural reconstruction result.

Skin-Sparing Mastectomy

Skin-sparing mastectomy removes breast tissue while preserving much of the breast skin, often in coordination with reconstruction.

Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy

This procedure samples the first lymph node or nodes most likely to receive drainage from the breast, helping stage cancer with a focused approach.

Axillary Lymph Node Surgery

When lymph node treatment is needed, surgery is tailored to remove the appropriate amount of tissue while minimizing unnecessary disruption.

Excisional Breast Biopsy

An excisional biopsy removes a breast finding for diagnosis or treatment when needle biopsy results need further clarification or surgical removal is recommended.

Localization Procedures

Localization helps accurately identify an area that cannot be felt by touch so it can be precisely removed during surgery.

Oncoplastic Breast Surgery

Oncoplastic techniques combine cancer surgery with plastic surgery principles to support both cancer treatment and breast appearance.

Breast Reconstruction Coordination

When reconstruction is part of your plan, we coordinate closely with reconstructive surgeons so your treatment feels organized and cohesive.
